REQUIREMENTS TO APPLY FOR YOUR REAL ESTATE LICENSE
- Applicants must be at least 18 years of age or older at the time of application for the license
- Applicants must meet any other requirements that the Real Estate Commission establishes
HOW DO I GET STARTED?
1. SUCCESSFULLY COMPLETE PRE-LICENSING
The Maryland Real Estate Commission requires that you complete the 60-hour Real Estate for Salespersons Course. You can complete this course at your own pace (wherever/whenever) through the interactive online & mobile-friendly platform.
2. PASS THE REAL ESTATE LICENSING EXAM
The exam consists of a national & state portion and candidates must pass each portion with a grade of at least 70%. It is proctored in a live environment, on a computer, or at a certified exam location.
